What You'll Do:
- Supervise daily operations in assigned dining areas, ensuring excellent service and compliance with established policies and procedures
- Train, schedule, coach, and support food service staff to maintain a professional, team-oriented environment
- Respond promptly and professionally to resident concerns to ensure high satisfaction and quality service
- Maintain a safe, clean, and productive dining environment through routine inspections and oversight
- Assist with hiring, onboarding, and staff development in partnership with the Director of Dining Services
- Support dining programs, regulatory inspections, and special projects as assigned by the Director of Dining Services
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1–3 years of restaurant or institutional food service experience preferred
- Knowledge of food handling, service standards, and sanitation practices
- Illinois Department of Public Health sanitation certification preferred
- Strong communication and team leadership skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
