How you will make an impact:
As the Major Gift Officer at Wesley Willows, you will manage a portfolio of 50–60 major donors nationwide, leading efforts to identify, engage, and steward supporters to grow philanthropic giving. You’ll develop annual plans, connect with donors through visits, calls, emails, proposals, and events, and track activity in Raiser’s Edge/NXT. You’ll work closely with the VP of Advancement, leadership, and board members to coordinate donor outreach, including stewardship mailings, solicitations, and in-person meetings. You’ll also lead donor events and manage planned giving relationships to encourage long-term support.
Schedule: This role is full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm.
What you will need:
- 5-7 years of development experience (required).
- A minimum of a Bachelor's degree applicable field (required).
- Strong development database/systems skills and analytical skills; experience with Raiser's Edge/NXT (preferred).
- Ability to work independently and take initiative to meet deadlines in a time-sensitive environment with polished oral, written, telephone, and e-mail communication skills; ability to interact with a variety of constituencies, including Board members, donors, staff and residents.
- Must be 21 years of age or older (required).
