What You'll Do:
- Prepare and cook a variety of foods in accordance with planned menus, dietary requirements, and safety standards
- Operating kitchen equipment
- Maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of kitchenarea
- Assist with food storage and inventory
- Support special functions and events
- Work collaboratively with the dining services team to ensure quality service
- Uphold a safe, efficient, and customer-focused kitchen environment
What You'll Need:
- High school graduate or equivalent (required)
- Active ServeSafe/Food Safety Managers Certification (required)
- Must be 18 years of age to operate potentially hazardous equipment (required)
- 2 years of institutional cooking in long-term care or assisted living (required)
- Institutional cooking, along with a fine dining experience, is preferred
